A Message from Izel Lutz – Interim Principal

Thank you for visiting our website: Cape Theological Seminary, the main campus of Global School of Theology (GST @ CTS).

To our Alumni: WELCOME! We want to hear from you. Let us know how you are doing!

Some Alumni news is that several alumni have spoken in chapel at CTS; have been speakers at Spiritual Emphasis; have been teaching our present students about Youth Ministry; are presently contributing to practical training of the GST @ CTS students by receiving them at Alumni-churches. All of your contributions are greatly appreciated. Thank you for sowing into the Kingdom of God by imparting in the lives of other students.

To prospective students: WELCOME! Enjoy our Website. You are also most welcome to visit us in person at 8 Potsdam Road, Killarney, near Table View.

Are you looking for solid biblical training and for an environment where God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit is acknowledged and honoured? Our aim is to teach, learn, and train but also to live that which we learn. Our theme for 2010 is “Glorifying God in Unity”. To glorify God in unity calls for action!

But why would you want to do training in Bible and Theology?

The principles of the Bible permeate all levels and aspects of society. By being schooled in the Bible, you can become an asset to society. As a Christian, it is important to know the Word of God and the issues surrounding it. This is especially true as we learn from surveys that fewer and fewer Christians know the Bible―they do not read it. They are becoming “starved” Christians. Do you want to be fed and ultimately feed the “starving”? Do you want to make a difference in society―in church ministry, in NGO's, in prisons, in children's homes, on the sport field, or in your secular occupation? Knowledge of God's Word and living it is a good foundation for life in general. Come and join us and fulfil a godly societal need!

Lastly, but not least―to our present students: WELCOME! We appreciate you. We are challenged along with you to “Glorifying God in Unity”. Thank you for the role that you play in one another's lives and in those of the faculty and staff.

We pray for you as you study and learn, and we know that you pray for us.

Together, let us make this year a great year:

In Christ

Izel Lutz

  • Rom 15:5 And may God, the source of patience and encouragement, enable you to have the same point of view among yourselves by following the example of Christ Jesus,
  • Rom 15:6 so that all of you together may praise with one voice the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Rom 15:7 Accept one another, then, for the glory of God, as Christ has accepted you.
